September means apple season, and we've whipped up a goodie for you, compliments of the Grippo's! An apple pie gelato using apples from Nonno Ted's giardino and Nonna Susan's (aka Pie Lady) pie recipe, spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. (Disclaimer: Nonno's garden may not be able to keep up with demand, so we most likely will be supplementing them with organic apples from Discovery Organics).
